Specialized Dissident 2 Full Face Helmet Stealth Carbon
Specialized's downhill race full face, developed with Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles. Three layer construction: carbon shell, polycarbonate, then EPS. The EPS is split into five pieces, each with its own density for where it sits in the helmet, to manage energy while keeping weight down. Around 940g in a medium.
MIPS Evolve uses fabric pocket attachments to cut down creaking and helmet wobble. A hood scoop pulls cool air in and the vents are placed to push warm air out. Inside is an Ionic Plus anti-microbial pad kit, a D-ring buckle, and four shell sizes across S to XL. It comes with a travel bag, a replacement crown pad and two sizes of emergency quick-release cheek pads.
Meets AS/NZS 2063. This one is Stealth Carbon. Come in and try one on.
