Ride one before you decide
We have demo bikes in the shop at the moment. You can feel the difference between a Levo 4 and an SL in about ten minutes, which is faster and a lot more honest than reading a spec sheet. They are here for a short run rather than permanently, so call ahead and we will have one ready.
How much does a Specialized Turbo Levo cost in New Zealand?
At BRM the range runs from $9,500 for the Turbo Levo 4 Alloy up to $25,900 for the S-Works Ultralights. Most of what people actually buy sits between $9,500 and $15,900. Every one of them is on 36 months interest free, so the number that usually matters is the monthly one. The Levo 4 Alloy works out around $264 a month to clear inside the term, indicative only.
Which Turbo Levo should I buy?
If you want the assistance to be obvious and you are riding big days at Woodhill or Riverhead, the Levo 4. If you would rather it felt like a bike that helps than a bike with a motor, the SL. If you have ridden a Levo 4 and found it a bit polite, the R.
That is the honest three line version. The longer answer takes ten minutes in the shop and a ride on two of them, which is what the demo bikes are for.
What size Turbo Levo do I need?
Specialized run S1 to S6 rather than S, M, L, and the sizes deliberately overlap. Your height narrows it to two, then reach, how you ride and what you are coming off decides between them. We have S1 through S6 on the floor, which means you can stand over both before you choose.
Getting this wrong is the most expensive mistake in a ten thousand dollar purchase, and it is the one thing a website genuinely cannot do for you.

Is the Specialized Turbo Levo a good bike?
It is the best selling full power e-MTB in the country for a reason. What matters more for you is which of the three is right and whether it fits. Both are ten minute conversations in the shop.
What is the best electric mountain bike in New Zealand?
Depends entirely on what you ride and how much help you want. We sell Levo because the platform is good and because we can service every part of it in house. Come and ride two of them back to back rather than take anyone's word for it.
How much does a Specialized Turbo Levo cost?

Can you service the motor and battery here?
Yes. We are a Specialized Authorized Service Agent with factory trained mechanics, OEM service parts and the diagnostic gear to read what the motor is reporting. Suspension and motor work both happen in house. We do not send your e-bike away.
Do you have my size?
We stock S1 through S6, though not every size in every build. The table above shows what is on the floor right now. If your size is not there we can usually get it.
