DT Swiss FR 1500 Classic 29 inch Wheel

The DT Swiss FR 1500 Classic is an aluminium freeride and downhill wheel built on DT Swiss's 240 hub. Sold as single wheels, front or rear, in 29 inch.

The aluminium rim profile has extra material in key spots for impact resistance and a reworked rim edge to resist pinch flats. It's welded, 30mm inside, hooked and tubeless ready. The front runs 28 spokes to save weight, the rear 32, all DT competition J-bend. The 240 hub runs the Ratchet EXP freehub system with 36 teeth. Classic in the name means a classic flanged hub shell laced with J-bend spokes.

The front is 20 x 110mm Boost. The rear is 12 x 157mm Super Boost with a SRAM XD freehub fitted. Both have 6-bolt disc mounts. Max system weight is 140kg. Not sure it fits your bike? Talk to us and we'll check.
