The FR 541 aspires to end your search for the best rim. Its design enables improved impact resistance and a better pinch flat protection on previous models, to fit each rider's style and lines as well as give a trusty ride on rougher tracks. The reduced rim weight ensures riders can gain altitude without too much effort. Build this rim with care and it will reward you with resistance and lightness for a long-lasting bond.

  • Improved pinch flat protection: Tests conducted with a leading tyre supplier showed a 17% increase in pinch flat resistance compared to the previous FR 560 rim 
  • Spoke holes: 28 / 32
  • Rim joint: Welded, the most resistant joining method of the DT Swiss aluminium portfolio
  • PHR system increases the load-bearing surface of the nipples on the rim and reduces localized stresses
  • Black rims come with three additional stickers for personalization (Chrome, Gold and Black), please note the Silver rims do not come with additional decals.

PLEASE NOTE:

DT Swiss have introduced an updated PHR Washer to their range, aptly named the PHR Washer II. All rim and wheels that use the PHR Wahser will include the updated version over the coming months.

• PHR II Washer will gradually replace the current PHR Washer.
• Existing compatibility and rim-specific application guidelines remain unchanged.
• The optimized geometry of the PHR II Washer improves nipple guidance and load distribution at the rim interface.
• No changes are required to spoke specifications, nipple compatibility, wheel building procedures, or approved tension ranges.
• Existing wheels equipped with PHR washers remain fully functional and do not require any upgrades.
