Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System

Some bottom bracket cups only give a tool a few millimetres of grip, and bottom brackets need a lot of torque. The BBT-RS uses spring tension to hold the tool fully engaged in the fitting so it doesn't slip off mid-turn. It uses an M8 threaded rod and a double-sided adapter nut with M12 and M15 threads, so it threads straight into compatible cartridge bottom brackets.

Works with threaded cup, thread-together, cartridge and cup-and-cone bottom brackets, and with most Park Tool BB tools. Used with the BBT-69.4 it can also remove rotor lockrings on thru-axle hubs up to 148mm wide. A workshop tool for anyone fighting stubborn BBs.
