Specialized Recon 1.0 Mountain Bike Shoe
An entry clip-in shoe for trail, gravel and indoor riding. A good first pair if you're clipping in for the first time. Two-bolt cleat pattern fits all major MTB pedals.
Injection STRIDE toe-flex lets the toes bend when you walk, while the cleat area stays stiff for pedalling (stiffness index 6.0). Fit is a BOA Fit System featuring L6 with soft Dyneema lace, which does away with hard moulded guides for a softer upper. SlipNot rubber tread and Body Geometry sole and footbed. About 291g per shoe in size 42.
