Schwalbe Albert Radial 29 inch Tyre

Schwalbe call the Albert the all rounder of their trail and enduro range. Hardpack or soft ground, racing or a ride with mates, it's built to give consistent grip across the lot. Schwalbe rate it for e-MTB use too.

The Albert was the first tyre Schwalbe put on their radial casing. The casing threads run at a blunter angle than a standard tyre, so it conforms to the ground better and puts a bigger contact patch on the trail. Schwalbe say that means more grip and more damping. Comes in two compounds. SOFT rolls well with balanced damping. ULTRA SOFT has more grip and more damping. Schwalbe suggest Ultra Soft up front and Soft on the rear if you want to mix them, and say both work in winter.

Gravity Pro is the heavy duty casing in Schwalbe's range, with an extra casing layer and their APEX fabric reinforcement for puncture protection. Made for harder riding and heavier bikes.
