Schwalbe Romy Radial 29 inch Tyre

Romy is Schwalbe's all-rounder for trail and all-mountain riding, light enough to pedal all day with enough bite for steeper, rougher trails. Schwalbe say it works front or rear, on a trail bike or a light-assist e-MTB. The tread is balanced for a lively feel while still rolling along well.

Radial means the casing threads are woven at a blunter angle. The tyre conforms to the ground more closely and puts a bigger contact patch on the trail, which Schwalbe say gives more grip, more cushioning and more control than their standard construction.

Trail Pro radial is the lighter option for general trail riding. Gravity Pro is Schwalbe's heavy-duty casing for harder riding or heavier bikes. An extra casing layer adds stability and puncture protection, and APEX fabric reinforcement adds more. Folding bead, TL-Ready and E-50 rated. Not sure which casing or compound suits you?
