Schwalbe Tacky Chan Radial 27.5 inch Tyre

Tacky Chan is Schwalbe's downhill tread, developed with their World Cup racers. It's built for cornering grip and braking traction while still letting you change lines easily. Amaury Pierron won the 2022 Downhill World Cup overall on it.

These are the radial versions, first developed for Schwalbe's World Cup downhill riders. The casing threads are woven at a blunter angle, so the tyre conforms to the ground better. Schwalbe say that at the same pressure it puts a 30 percent larger contact patch on the trail.

Gravity Pro radial is for full gravity riding and stability, in SOFT or ULTRA SOFT at 27.5 x 2.5. The 27.5 x 2.4 Gravity Pro SOFT option is the standard (non-radial) casing version. Folding bead, TL-Ready and E-50 rated. Not sure which casing or compound suits you? Talk to us and we'll help.
