Shimano Deore XT BL-M8200 / BR-M8220 4-Piston Hydraulic Disc Brake

The XT 4-piston brake, BL-M8200 lever with the two-piece BR-M8220 caliper, supplied as a J-kit with lever, hose and caliper together. Shimano built this one for enduro and big trail days, with a DH-capable power curve.

The BL-M8200 lever has an alloy blade made with Shimano's stamping process, a pivot point that sits closer to follow the arc of your finger, and reach adjust. SERVO WAVE gets the pads to the rotor quickly and manages the power through the rest of the pull, and the new low viscosity mineral oil keeps the feel consistent over a wider range of temperatures.

Updated seals help keep the bite point consistent in all conditions, and a revised pad and oval mount stop pad rattle. Run resin or metal pads, finned or non-finned, to tune the feel. Sold as a front or rear brake.
