Shimano E8000 DU-E8000 Drive Unit (First Generation)

Shimano's first generation e-MTB drive unit with 250W rated power and 70Nm of torque. The compact body and short rear centre allow shorter chainstays and more clearance for suspension and tyres, and it gives a direct pedalling feel with the assist on or off.

BOOST, TRAIL and ECO assist modes, with Dynamic, Explorer and Customise riding characteristics set in E-TUBE PROJECT. Runs a 24mm spindle and is chain device compatible.

This is the disc brake version, 25km/h or 20mph. First generation battery management system with SD50 wiring. Like any e-bike system part it should be fitted and set up by a workshop. Not sure it fits your bike? Talk to us and we'll check.
