Shimano BL-MT401 / BR-MT410 2-Piston Hydraulic Disc Brake

An entry level hydraulic brake set up for newer mountain bikers. The BL-MT401 is an anodised alloy 2-finger lever with a short 75mm minimum reach for smaller hands, paired with the lightweight 2-piston BR-MT410 caliper. Supplied as a J-kit with lever, hose and caliper together.

Power is tuned for entry level riders, with quick piston retraction and good modulation. Bleeding is clean and simple with Shimano's funnel method and mineral oil. Sold as a front or rear brake.
