Shimano XTR BL-M9220 / BR-M9220 4-Piston Hydraulic Disc Brake

The XTR enduro brake. BL-M9220 lever with the 4-piston BR-M9220 caliper, supplied as a J-kit with lever, hose and caliper together. Shimano developed the DH-capable power curve for enduro racing.

The lever has a forged alloy blade, new lever shape and pivot point, and improved reach adjust. Updated seals and the new low viscosity mineral oil keep the bite point consistent in all temperatures and trail conditions, and a revised pad and oval mount stop rattle. Run resin or metal pads, finned or non-finned, to tune the feel. Sold as a front or rear brake.
